As reported in previous shareholder updates, there are three main licenses required in Brazil when building a mine, the Preliminary License, the Installation License and the Operating License. Obtaining each one de-risks the project and drives further value for Brazil Potash shareholders. The Preliminary License is typically the most challenging to obtain as it includes extensive public consultation. Its receipt represents the government’s environmental and social approval of our project. As you will see in the picture below, Brazil Potash’s Preliminary License was personally hand delivered by the Governor of the Amazonas region who is a strong supporter of our project. BPC Shareholder Update Page 2 With the Preliminary License in hand, our team is highly focused on our next major milestone - the completion of the bankable feasibility study. We expect to complete the feasibility study in the first quarter of 2016. Having the Preliminary License in hand also enables important funding institutions, such as BNDES, SUDAM and IFC, to initiate due diligence on the project. This is a significant milestone for us to celebrate and a true testament of Brazil Potash team’s dedication and hard work! Matt Simpson Chief Executive Officer Brazil Potash Corp.
