FRIENDS OF THE WOOL MUSEUM
OF THE UNIVERSITY OF BEIRA INTERIOR
Friend of the Museum is a manner of cooperating actively with the Museum. The Friends of the Museum
cooperate in the cultural activities and, above all, they support the fundraising which contributes to the
Museum maintenance (survival), disclosure and growth. Your support is essential for the development and the
spread of the Museum exposed collection, as well as, for the promotion of the pedagogic activities.
Every year, the donations of the Friends of the Wool Museum are led to support a specific action, like:
2008- Edition of guide books, inventories and catalogues of the Museum and of its collections;
2009 – Preservation and restoration of pieces of collection.

Under the legislation in force, the
contributions

Wool
Museum
automatically benefit from the established
regime in the Arts patronage status,
respectively in the artº5º for the single
members and in artº1º, nº1 e nº3 for the
companies’ members.
The Art Patronage Status has been published
as an annex of the law (Dec. Lei nº 74/99, de
16 de Março, com a redacção da Lei
nº160/99, de 14 de Setembro.)
