NATURE
Certo dia a passear
Vi uma linda seara
Tudo era magnífico
Que já mais imaginava.
Vi montes de objectos
E um cheiro muito forte
Era tudo tão horrível
Que se parecia com a morte.

A Formiga e o Pombo
The Ant and the Dove
Estava uma Formiga junto a um regato quando foi
apanhada pela corrente. Uma Pomba que estava pousada
numa árvore sobre a água viu que ela estava quase a afogarse e teve pena dela. Para que se pudesse salvar, atirou-lhe
uma folha. A Formiga subiu para cima da folha e flutuou em
segurança para a margem do regato.
Pouco depois, apareceu um caçador e apontou para a
Pomba. A Formiga, percebendo o que estava para acontecer,
picou-o no pé. O caçador sentiu a dor da picada e moveu-se
ruidosamente. Alertada, a Pomba voou para longe e salvouse.
Moral da história:
O melhor agradecimento é o que se dá quando os outros
mais precisam de nós.

- Somos três gotas diferentes, oriundas de diversos pontos;
queremos que nos diga qual de nós vale mais, qual a mais
pura.
- Aceito. Fala tu, gota brilhante.
- E a primeira gota, trémula, falou:
- Eu venho das nuvens altas - sou filha dos grandes mares.
Nasci no largo oceano antigo e forte. Depois de visitar

Era uma vez três rios que nasceram em Espanha.
Chamavam-se Douro, Tejo e Guadiana. Estavam um dia a
contemplar as nuvens e perguntaram-lhes donde vinham.
- Do mar – responderam elas. - É o nosso pai e o nosso avô.
- Onde fica o mar? - Perguntaram os rios.
- Lá longe, em Portugal - responderam as nuvens.
- É grande?
- É, é muito grande.
- Havemos de ir ver o mar.
E combinaram que no dia seguinte iriam os três ver o mar.
Assim fizeram.
O Guadiana acordou primeiro e lá foi calmamente,
contemplando os montes e as belezas que o espreitavam, e
escolhendo os caminhos por onde passava, ao chegar a Vila
Real de Santo António parou maravilhado. O segundo foi o

Assim foi ele que, muito sujo e enlameado, chegou em
primeiro lugar. E assim é também que os nossos três rios
mais importantes têm características diferentes.

O verde do mundo está a desaparecer!
O azul das águas esta secando!
Dias terríveis virão, pois a natureza esta virando extinção, tudo por
causa do homem ladrão, que rouba o que Deus nos deixou,
transformando o futuro dos nossos descendentes em horror.
Quero o branco alvo das ondas, como o véu da noiva roçando nas
areias do mar, o verde cristalino do mar, como esmeralda a brilhar, o
azul intenso das águas, imitando o azul o céu.
Quero imaginar que as nascentes humildes, vão continuar crescendo
e majestosamente derramando véus de quedas de água e grandes
rios a jorrar.
A natureza existe para nos dar paz do nosso verdadeiro habitar.
Somos da natureza e sem ela, não somos, morremos!
Seremos extinção, e tudo se tornará em vão.
Somos herdeiros e mordomos.
Então vamos gritar:
A natureza precisa continuar, vamos cuidar, amar, preservar, e a vida
assim, continuar a crescer.

We are inheritors and stewards.

Meio Ambiente
Desde o inicio tudo mudou pois o meio ambiente já se
transformou. Não vemos, não queremos saber do que está a
acontecer. Não queremos perceber, que toda a Natureza;
animais famintos e, muitos extintos, as florestas arderam,
árvores abateram.

A Floresta
Para preservarmos a floresta temos todos de trabalhar para
ajudarmos a salvar o mundo.
É importante preservar o habitat de todos os seres vivos
(animais e plantas), assim como, criar meios que impeçam a
poluição dos rios e mares e a atmosfera, para podermos
admirar toda a beleza da Natureza.
Caso contrário, caminhamos para a destruição total do
Mundo.

The huge caretaker that God has sent,

The sun, soil, waves and breeze,
Animals minerals and the trees.
The Environment is made to give,
All the things we need to live.
But it has been put under threat,
By all of us who were supposed to protect.
Pollution of land, air and water,
All disasters one after the other.
Rapidly growing population,
Which barely has any limitation.
Horribly increasing deforestation,
Which leads to drastic soil erosion.
Greed for teeth and skin of animals,
Has almost made us, what we call cannibals!
Depletion of the ozone layer,
Is harmful for all of us here.
If these are the effects of progress,
I think we were better off in forests!
Why can’t we try and do our best,
To put this destruction down to rest?
If each person listens to just himself,
Whom will the Environment ask for help?
So come on, let’s plant some seeds,
And perform some really good deeds.
Throw all garbage in the bin,
Or else, we shall commit a big sin.
Let’s save the Environment,
Save Mother Nature,
Save the Earth,
And Secure our Future.
Protect against the dumps and spills
Allow wildlife to roam the hills
Nature and beauty is everywhere
Please do your part to keep fresh air
All your waste, recycle now
