Directions to Union Church from Zona Sul to Barra













Take Estrada Lagoa Barra (in the area of the Flamengo Club and the Jockey Club/Hippodromo)
heading toward Barra da Tijuca (west).
Continue on Estrada Lagoa Barra through the tunnel and through São Conrado.
Estrada Lagoa Barra will become Avenida das Americas as you enter the Barra da Tijuca area. Stay in
the central lanes as you pass Citta America and Shopping Downtown.
Continue approximately 3.25 km / 2 miles until you approach Village Mall, Barra Shopping, and New
York City Center (complete with a quarter-size Statue of Liberty)
Take the “Forum/Lourenco Jorge/Leila Diniz” exit on the right. Get over to the right-most lane as
possible.
Continue through several traffic lights and you will pass the shopping malls (on your right). Stay
towards the right-hand side of the road.
The road becomes Ayrton Senna and curves to the right. Very soon after the road curves, take the
underground tunnel on the right-hand side of the road labeled “Recreio, Praia, Terminal
Alvorada”. This tunnel makes a u-turn beneath the main lanes. Stay to the left as you exit the tunnel
and continue around the loop.
As you approach the Ipiranga gas station, stay to the left of the station (passing the bus terminal).
After the gas station, get into the right-most lanes. Continue forward and stay on the frontage road
of Avenida das Americas.
You will pass the Nova Ipanema condominium along with a car dealership, Domino’s pizza, and an Itau
bank.
Immediately after the Itau bank, turn right onto Rua Zoila de Abreu Teixeira (look for the blue sign
marked “Union Church”).
Go straight through the Jardim Europa condominium (one guard gate to enter and one to exit).
Upon exiting, turn right onto a gravel road and left into Union Church.

direção da Barra da Tijuca (oeste).
Continuar na Estrada Lagoa Barra através do túnel e por São Conrado.
Estrada Lagoa Barra tornarar-se em Avenida das Américas, quando entrar-se na área da Barra da
Tijuca.
Permanecer nas pistas centrais e passar-se pelo Shopping Downtown e Citta América.
Continuar para aproximadamente 3,25 km / 2 milhas até se aproximar do Village Mall, Barra Shopping
e New York City Center (completo com uma Estátuta da Liberdade)
Pegar o "Forum / Lourenço Jorge / Leila Diniz" saída à direita. Passar se para a faixa mais à direita

Continuar em frente e ficar na estrada da fachada da Avenida das Américas.
Passar o condomínio Nova Ipanema, juntamente com uma concessionária de carros, pizza Dómino, e
o banco Itaú.
Imediatamente após o banco Itaú, virar à direita na Rua Zoila de Abreu Teixeira (procurar o sinal azul
marcada como "Union Church")
Passar direto através do condomínio Jardim Europa (um portão de entrada para entrar e outro para
sair).
Ao sair, virar à direita para uma estrada de cascalho e à esquerda na guarita da Union Church.

Take Avenida das Americas in the direction of Barra da Tijuca/Zona Sul and stay in the central lanes.
Continue until you pass XXXX and XXXX on the right hand side
Take the “Praia/Terminal Alvorada” exit on the right. Continue through several traffic lights passing
Rio Design Shopping Center and a Citroen dealership.
As you pass the Toyota dealership, join the road that comes from the left and as you approach the
Ipiranga gas station, stay to the left of the station (passing the bus terminal).
After the gas station, get into the right-most lanes. Continue forward and stay on the frontage road
of Avenida das Americas.

centrais.
Continuar até passar XXXX e XXXX, no lado direito
Pegar a "Praia / Terminal Alvorada" saída à direita.
Continuar através de vários semáforos que passam o Rio Design Shopping Center e uma
concessionária Citroen.
Quando passar pela concessionária Toyota, passar-se a pista que vem da esquerda
Ao se aproximar do posto de gasolina Ipiranga, fique à esquerda da estação (passando o terminal de
ônibus).
Depois do posto de gasolina, entrar mais à direita nas pistas.
Continuar em frente e ficar na estrada da fachada da Avenida das Américas.
