Quinta da Boeira informs that the second edition of Portugal Wine Trophy will be held
in our facilities connected to the partnership with Berlin Wine Trophy and Asia Wine
Trophy, under the patronage of OIV. Last year more than 14.000, in total, were tasted
and evaluated by the jurors.
Portugal Wine Trophy 2015 will be held from 28th to 31st de May with the following
deadlines: registration until 10th of May and sample sending until 15th May. The
registration can be done by filling the sample certificate or by registering at
http://system.wine-trophy.com/.
A new opportunity appears this year for those interested in participating: by entering
the wines in Portugal Wine Trophy they are automatically registered in Asia Wine
Trophy 2015, which will occur during August/ September.
The number of bottles per submission is 4 (four) for Portugal Wine Trophy and 6 (six)
for Asia. On the attached table you can see the cost of registration.
It was created, for this year, a new prize: Best Wine Supermarket of the Year, to
achieve this, the supermarket has to have at least 7 (seven) Gold Medals given to their
suppliers or their own brand wines.
The participants registered on the 3 Trophies, Portugal, Berlin and Asia; with the
highest number of Gold medals enter the Golden League. The prize is the participation
in Daejeon Food and Wine Festival and in Berlin Wine Trophy, including trip, stay and
meals as well us one stand for their wines.
