Neste trabalho identificou-se o modelo arquivístico dos prontuários
dos clientes adotado por uma unidade do PSF e averiguaram-se as
atribuições de enfermagem previstas no manual e no regimento do
PSF. Foram descritas as formas pelas quais são arquivados os
prontuários; identificadas atribuições de enfermagem previstas no
manual e no regimento do PSF que possam favorecer a organização
do arquivo. Foi um estudo exploratório, de abordagem qualitativa. A
coleta de dados realizou-se mediante observação não-participante em
uma unidade do PSF de uma cidade do Leste de Minais Gerais,
através de roteiro de observação e levantamento documental acerca
das ações gerenciais do enfermeiro na unidade observada. O modelo
arquivístico consiste no acondicionamento dos prontuários em
envelopes de papel, os quais não se sustentam adequadamente na
posição vertical em que se encontram. As prateleiras de aço que
acomodam os envelopes não são ideais para o serviço de
arquivamento. Na tentativa de localizar os prontuários no arquivo,
foram observadas dificuldades na busca dos mesmos. A pluralidade
dos prontuários também foi evidenciada mediante o cruzamento de
informações entre o software PSF on-line e a existência dos
prontuários replicados no arquivo. Na ocasião da pesquisa, o manual
e o regimento existentes na unidade não se encontravam disponíveis
para exploração acerca das ações gerenciais do enfermeiro o que
resultou na elaboração de uma proposta de modelo arquivístico. O
estudo proporcionou a valorização do papel gerencial do enfermeiro
no PSF e demonstrou que os problemas identificados interferem na
agilidade e na qualidade dos serviços prestados.

ABSTRACT
In this work, the archivistic model of clients’ records adopted by a PSF
unit was identified and the nursing attributions, which are present in
the manual and in the rules of the PSF, were investigated. It was

described how the records are archived. The nursing attributions,
present in the manual and in the rules of the PSF, which can help the
archive organization, were identified. It was an exploratory study
consisting of a qualitative approach. The data collection was done
through an observation, without participation, in a PSF unit located at a
city in the east region of Minas Gerais state. A script was used for
observation and documental analysis concerning the managing actions
of the nurse in the observed unit. The archivistic model consists in the
storage of the records in paper envelopes, which does not self
maintain adequately in the vertical position where they are. The steel
shelving that accommodates the envelopes is not the most adequate
to the archive service. The attempt to find the records in the archive
demonstrated that there are difficulties in the searching process. The
plurality of the records was observed through the matching of
information of the PSF on-line software and the replicated records in
the archive. When the research was performed, the manual and the
rules were not available in the unit for investigation concerning the
nursing management actions; therefore an archivistic model proposal
was elaborated. This study promoted the valorization of the nursing
management role in the PSF and demonstrated that the identified
problems influence the agility and the quality of the offered services.
