The Rio Music Conference: Since 2009 the Rio Music Conference runs a series of electronic dance music events in several major Brazilian cities and is to be considered today as one of most relevant EDM related event in its kind from the world. The RMC’s Ambassadors: Brazil is the 7th largest world economy, the 5th largest country in area in all the world, almost 200 million inhabitants and it is divided into five main regions: Northern, Northeastern, Central-Western, Southern and Southeastern. As a result of that diversity, the needs, wishes and desires of local agents, radio stations, nightclubs, artists, managers, promoters and specialized media from each of these regions vary greatly from one another. For that reason the RMC has appointed 920 local ambassadors to act in each one of these five main regions and connected to the dance music industry whose mission it is to be link up the RMC and the local music industry, creating a true bond between the event and the area in which the Ambassador acts and where its Regional Editions actually take place. The RMC Awards: The idea of the RMC Awards was born in recognition of excellence within both Brazilian and South American electronic music industry: based on the assumption that popularity is not synonymous with excellence, the RMC curators shall indicate which candidates will run and the voting will be made only by RMC ambassadors. In other words, professionals will evaluate professionals in determining the winners. The RMC Annual: RMC’s official publication “The Annual” is of fundamental importance for those who operate in different areas of this industry: in one hand it summarize past RMCs and other key global electronic music events, while on the other feature interviews with noted professionals, celebrities, entrepreneurs as well the story behind each one of the winners from the third edition "RMC Awards”. Such initiative has been produced for engage clubs and nightclubs in the largest gathering of electronic music of South America, turning them into co-hosts of the event: during this last Main Edition were more than 30 locations, from various profiles.
