PAMIN proposes an approach to social and technological issues related to the storage,
cataloging and dissemination of information about space-time artistic and cultural events that
make up the material and immaterial cultural heritage representing the cultural diversity of Brazil.

[GTAVCS] Working Group on Video Collaboration in T-Health
2010-Today
This project has the general objective to propose an infrastructure of hardware and software to
remote management of multiple simultaneous streams in order to provide support to various
scenarios of video collaboration in t-health and telemedicine. The service proposed focuses on
enhancing and improving of the current service broadcast live surgeries (developed in Phase I)
and the development of additional services to support the learning activity and learning based on
collaboration and information retrieval.

[LIBRAS TV] System for automatic generation of legends in Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) for the
Brazilian Digital TV System (SBTVD)
2009-Today
The project LibrasTV involves a set of software components and hardware integrated with
broadcasters and Digital TV receivers to promote accessibility for TV services. The objective of this
project is to enable subtitles in LIBRAS based on automatic generation, encoding, transmittion and
decoding. We intend to reduce the cost of generation and production, in addition to allow system
to enable / disable or resize the display LIBRAS window.

Skills Profile
I am an enthusiastic of user experience challenges in Computer Science applications. I work with
Human Computer Interaction until my undergraduate course. Today I develop and apply HCI
techniques in different domains, specially embedded systems. At the research lab (LAVID) we
develop interactive applications for digital convergence, focusing Digital Television, T-Heath and
Mobile Systems. I am capable of working on my own initiative. I am resourceful, with group work
skills, problem-solving skills, and an easy going personality.
