O volume dos gases removidos
usando o TCU por unidade de
tempo, corresponde à taxa de
formação de gás no transformador.
Uma interpretação, por exemplo à
norma DIN EN 60599 * também é
possível ao longo das linhas da
DGA (Análise de Gás Dissolvido).
Opcionalmente a umidade e a
pressão total do gás no óleo
isolante pode ser monitorado online, permitindo o acionamento de
um rápido alarme em caso de
mudanças significativas.
