7he Angolan Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, has sent
messages to his counterparts of North Korea, Kim Jong Un, and
Switzerland, Simonetta Sommaruga, congratulating them on the
celebration of their respective national day festivities.
The information is contained on a press note issued by the Civil
Office of the Angolan Head of State, which reached ANGOP on
13th August.
On his message to President Kim Jong Un, José Eduardo dos
Santos salutes the people of North Korea on the commemoration
of the 70th anniversary of the country’s liberation and the efforts
being made by the Korean government and people for the
conquest and preservation of its freedom, sovereignty and peace,
as well as its economic and social development.
On a different message, the Angolan Head of State congratulates
his counterpart from Switzerland on one more anniversary of
that country’s national day, and wishes more development and
well-being to the Swiss people, also reiterating the willingness of
the Angolan government to strengthen the friendship and
co-operation ties.
On the other hand, President José Eduardo dos Santos
congratulated the government and people of Morocco on the
celebration of the 16th anniversary of ascension to the throne of
His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco, also wishing him
happiness and success in his mandate.
The Angolan Head of State, praised the achievements of King
Mohammed VI in various domains and reiterated the intention of
the Angolan government to continue to strengthen the friendship
and co-operation ties in a way that is advantageous for both
countries.

O Vice-presidente da República, Manuel Domingos Vicente,
regressou na tarde do dia 18 de Agosto de 2015 a Luanda,
proveniente de Gaberone (Botswana), onde em representação do
Presidente da República, José Eduardo dos Santos, participou na
35ª Cimeira de Chefes de Estado e de Governo da Comunidade de
Desenvolvimento da África Austral (SADC).
No Aeroporto Internacional 4 de Fevereiro, Manuel Domingos
Vicente recebeu cumprimentos de boas-vindas do ministro de
Estado e Chefe da Casa Civil da Presidência da República,
Edeltrudes Costa, entre outros membros do governo.
A cimeira, que decorreu sob o lema “Acelerar a industrialização
das economias da SADC, através da transformação das riquezas
naturais e valorização do capital humano”, assinalou os 23 anos
da fundação da SADC e a passagem do testemunho da
presidência rotativa da República do Zimbabwe, para a República
do Botswana.
No encontro foi apresentada uma proposta de cerca de 500
milhões de dólares para financiar a implementação do seu Plano
Estratégico Indicativo de Desenvolvimento Regional a fim de
poder avançar com a integração, tendo como prioridade a
industrialização.

7he Vice-president, Manuel Vicente, returned on 18th August
2015 afternoon to Luanda from Gaborone (Botswana), where he
was representing the head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, and
he attended the 35th Summit of Heads of State and Government
of the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
At 4 Fevereiro International Airport, Manuel Vicente received
welcome greetings from the Minister of State and Head of the
Civil House of the Presidency of the Republic, Edeltrudes Costa,
among other government officials.
The summit, held under the theme "Accelerating the
industrialization of economies of SADC, through the
transformation of natural and enhancement of human capital
wealth,"marked the 23rd anniversary of the SADC foundation
and the handing over the rotating presidency from Zimbabwe to
the Republic of Botswana.
At the meeting a proposal of about $ 500 million was presented
to finance the implementation of its Strategic Plan Indicative of
the Regional Development in order to move forward with the
integration, prioritizing the industrialization.
The decision to put industrialization in the center of the priorities
of the regional integration agenda was the recognition that,
despite the progress made in reducing tariffs, the level of trade
between countries in the region did not increase as expected.
SADC comprises Angola, Botswana, Democratic Republic of
Congo, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique,
Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia
and Zimbabwe.

O emissário do Chefe de Estado do Uganda a Luanda, o
ministro da Defesa Chrispus Kiyonga, considerou no dia 19 de
Agosto de 2015 na capital angolana, de "excelentes" as relações
de cooperação bilateral entre os dois países.
O enviado apresentou esta posição em entrevista à Angop, no
Aeroporto Internacional 4 de Fevereiro, momentos antes do fim
da sua visita oficial de três dias a Angola, onde se deslocou para
entregar uma missiva do Presidente Yoweri Museveni, ao seu
homólogo angolano, José Eduardo dos Santos.
Chrispus Kiyonga, que referiu-se, sobretudo, ao sector da defesa
e segurança, sustentou o quadro realçando que a cooperação “é
cada vez mais excelentes”, visto que ambos integram a União
Africana (UA) e a Conferência Internacional para a Região dos
Grandes Lagos (CIRGL), organismos onde cooperam para
pacificar a região e pôr fim aos conflitos armados na zona.
Na ocasião, o emissário ugandês destacou os avanços que se
registam na economia nacional, tendo destacado a construção
de infraestruturas na capital angolana, assim como o próprio
desenvolvimento económico do país nos diversos sectores.
A propósito, o entrevistado manifestou ainda a sua admiração e
satisfação pelas obras que estão a ser edificadas na cidade de
Luanda, o que está a tornar a capital do país bela e a melhorar a
qualidade de vida das pessoas, motivo que o levou a elogiar o
executivo angolano.
O enviado de Yoweri Museveni que agradeceu a recepção das
autoridades locais, em particular o Presidente Dos Santos,
desejou também votos de maior prosperidade ao povo angolano
e crescimento ao seu actual desenvolvimento económico, para

Angola e o Uganda cooperam principalmente nos ramos

On the occasion, the Ugandan official highlighted the advances
taking place in the Angolan economy, mentioning areas such as

Egyptian ambassador to Angola, Gamal Metwally
expressed on 18th August 2015 in Luanda, the gratitude of the
Egyptian government to the Head of State, José Eduardo dos
Santos, for his support and solidarity provided to the Arab
nation.
The feeling of gratitude was transmitted to José Eduardo dos
Santos, during the meeting that he granted to the Egyptian
diplomat, at the end of his four-year mission in Angola.
Speaking to the press after the meeting, the Ambassador
considered excellent cooperation relations between the two
countries and stressed that Egypt does everything so that the
relations "are increasingly strengthened" in the political,
economic and trade fields.
Gamal Metwally announced three agreements, especially in

secretário executivo da Conferência Internacional da sub-região,
Ntumba Luaba Alphonse.
O responsável, que falava à imprensa, no final de um encontro
com o presidente da Assembleia Nacional (AN), Fernando da
Piedade Dias dos Santos, frisou que em Dezembro do corrente
ano, Luanda será a capital do Fórum Parlamentar e espera-se o
contínuo fortalecimento da paz e democracia na região e no
continente.
“O encontro com o presidente da Assembleia Nacional serviu
para renovar a intenção da realização do Fórum Parlamentar em
Luanda. Portanto, temos a esperança de que quando Angola
assumir a liderança os objectivos continuarão a ser defendidos”,
disse.
Por outro lado, sublinhou que um dos aspectos que preocupam o
Fórum Parlamentar dos Grandes Lagos é o combate das forças
negativas no Leste do Congo Democrático, estabilidade no
Burundi, depois das eleições realizadas recentemente, bem como
a instabilidade no Sudão do Sul.
Angola, que vai acolher de 1 a 3 de Dezembro, a VI sessão plenária
do Fórum Parlamentar da Conferência da Região dos Grandes
Lagos, foi aprovada como membro de pleno direito do referido
fórum.
O Fórum Parlamentar da Conferência Internacional da Região
dos Grandes Lagos foi institucionalizado em 2008, no Ruanda.
A aprovação de Angola como membro da organização aconteceu
em Novembro de 2014, sendo esta a sua primeira participação
oficial.
Quanto à representação nas assembleias plenárias, é constituída
pelos presidentes do parlamento de cada Estado-membro e por
cinco representantes eleitos para o fórum, por cada parlamento
nacional, obedecendo a uma representação feminina de um terço
e a equidade dos partidos políticos com assento parlamentar.

democracy in Africa when it takes up the chair of the
Parliamentary Forum of the International Conference on the
Great Lakes.
This was said on 6th August 2015 in Luanda by the executive
secretary of the International Conference on the Great Lakes
(ICGLR), Ntumba Luaba Alphonse.
The official was speaking at the end of an audience granted to him
by the Angola National Assembly speaker, Fernando da Piedade
Dias dos Santos.
He stated that Luanda will host the ICGLR’s Parliamentary
Forum that is expected to continue strengthening peace and
democracy in the region and in the continent.
"The meeting with President of the National Assembly served to
renew the intention of completing the Parliamentary Forum in
Luanda. So we have the hope that when Angola takes the lead the
objectives will continue to be defended, "he said.
On the other hand, he underlined that one of the matters that
concern the ICGLR Parliamentary Forum is the fight against the
negative forces in eastern DR Congo and the instability in
Burundi and South Sudan.
Angola, that will host the VI ICGLR Parliamentary Forum from
December 1-3, was approved as a full right member of the
organisation in November 2014.
The Parliamentary Forum of the International Conference of the
Great Lakes region was institutionalized in 2008 in Rwanda.
Approval of Angola as member of the organization took place in
November 2014, this was its first official participation.
Regarding the representation in plenary sessions, it is made up of
the presidents of the parliament of each Member State and five
representatives elected to the board, by each national parliament,
following a female representation of a third and equity of political
parties in Parliament.

Conselho de Ministros da SADC, reconheceu que o país tem
algum atraso com relação ao assunto, mas tudo faz para

interno, em virtude da real situação, pois Angola viveu longos
períodos de guerra e precisa de mais tempo, comparada com a

Em breves declarações à imprensa, à saída do encontro, o
diplomata belga informou que aproveitou a ocasião de despedida
ao estadista angolano para abordar assuntos de interesse
bilateral, fundamentalmente de caracter económico e comercial.
Charles Delogne considerou que durante os 4 anos do seu
mandato a cooperação bilateral ficou mais fortalecida, a julgar
pelas trocas de vistas a nível ministerial e pelos encontros entre
entidades dos dois países em distintos níveis.

the Protocols of the Southern Africa Development Community
(SADC) on Trade and Free Movement of People and Goods.

Georges Chikoti was speaking to Angop at "4 de Fevereiro"

Speaking to the press at the end of the meeting, the Belgian
diplomat said he used the occasion to bid farewell to the Angolan
statesman and address matters of bilateral interest, mainly of
economic and commercial nature.
Charles Delogne considered that during the four years of his
term bilateral cooperation was stronger, judging from exchanges
of visits at ministerial level and the meetings between entities of
the two countries at different levels.

The Deputy Minister of Belarus, Vassily Bugachev Rybakov, left
on 1st August 2015 Luanda, after paying since 9th July a 48 hours
visit, as part of the reinforcement of cooperation between both
countries.
At Luanda’s “4 de Fevereiro” International Airport, the
Belarusian diplomat, who did speak to the press, received
farewell greetings from senior officials of the Angolan Ministry of
Foreign Affairs and other individualities.
The visitor met separately with Minister of Foreign Affairs,

Acrescentou que existe um certo esforço no reforço das relações
entre os dois países nas áreas de infra-estruturas rodoviárias e
ferroviárias, que poderão facilitar a circulação destes produtos,
fundamentalmente o canal que vai de Xangongo (Cunene) ao
Rivungo (Cuando Cubango), províncias de Angola.
Pela primeira vez em visita a República de Angola, o dirigente
zambiano manifestou-se bastante impressionado com o nível de
desenvolvimento que ocorre actualmente no país.
Angola e Zâmbia, que partilham fronteira terrestre comum na
zona leste, mantêm relações de cooperação nos domínios
político, diplomático, comercial e cultural.

The Zambian government’s intention to import in the near
future, oil from the Republic of Angola, was the main issue at the
meeting that the Angolan Head of State, José Eduardo dos
Santos, granted on 10th August 2015 at the Presidential Palace in
Luanda to the Deputy Minister assigned to the presidency of
Zambia, Mulenga Sata.
Mulenga Sata told journalists at the end of the audience that
currently his country imports oil and oil by products from the
Middle East at high cost and, in this context, Zambia being a
neighbor of Angola "we find it more convenient to import this
product from Angola.”
"The Republic of Angola has projects in place related to the
construction of oil refineries and we need to take advantage of it,
as well as in the chapter of generation of electricity and gas from
Angola to Zambia," he said.
The visiting minister added that there is some effort in
strengthening relations between the two countries in the fields of
road and rail infrastructure, which will facilitate the movement of
these products, mainly the channel that starts from Xangongo
(Cunene) to Rivungo (Kuando Kubango), provinces of Angola.
For the first time visiting the Republic of Angola, the Zambian
official expressed that he is quite impressed with the
development level currently in Angola.
Angola and Zambia, which share common land border on the east
side, maintain cooperation relations in the political, diplomatic,

O Presidente da República, José Eduardo dos Santos, recebeu
no dia 10 de Agosto de 2015, no Palácio Presidencial, em
Luanda, o Ministro dos Negócios Estrangeiros do Burundi, Alain
Aimé Nyamitwe, com quem abordou questões ligadas ao reforço
da cooperação bilateral.
Abordado pela imprensa a saída do encontro, o chefe da
diplomacia do Burundi que considerou "profícuas" as relações
de cooperação entre os dois países, informou que com o
estadista angolano trocou impressões relacionadas com a forma
de se incrementar e reforçar a aludida cooperação, uma vez que
os dois países são membros da Conferência Internacional sobre
a Região dos Grandes Lagos (CIRGL), a qual o Chefe de Estado
angolano, José Eduardo dos Santos, é presidente em exercício.
"É imperioso que os dois países juntem sinergias em termos de
cooperação, tanto ao nível bilateral como da CIRGL e da União
Africana", destacou Alain Aimé Nyamitwe, que aproveitou
também a ocasião para transmitir ao líder angolano o ponto de
situação política e militar reinante actualmente no Burundi,
após a realização das recentes eleições legislativas e
presidenciais.
Neste capítulo (situação no Burundi pós eleições), deu a
conhecer que informou ao Presidente José Eduardo dos Santos
que o seu país, neste momento, possui já instituições eleitas,
resultante do voto popular, uma vez que as legislativas
ocorrerem a 21 de Junho deste ano e as presidenciais a 21 de
Julho.
Disse que as instituições sufragadas pelo povo já tomaram posse,
com principal destaque para os deputados.
"Daqui a algum tempo todas as instituições eleitas de forma
democrática vão tomar os seus assentos e isso fará com que o
Burundi volte a funcionar na normalidade", referiu.
Alain Nyamitwe, que reconheceu ainda existir no seu país alguns
focos de tensão, lamentou o assassinato de uma alta patente
militar burundesa General Adolphe Nshimirimana, ocorrido a
02 de Agosto do corrente, e frisou que os órgãos de defesa do
Estado estão a envidar todos os esforços no sentido de localizar
os autores do crime.
O General Nshimirimana desempenhou um papel fundamental
no seio das forças armadas, para impedir a recente tentativa de
golpe de Estado no Burundi e pôr um termo à vaga de
manifestações contra uma terceira candidatura de Pierre
Nkurunziza.

Angolan head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, on 10th
August 2015 in Luanda discussed the strengthening of bilateral
cooperation with the Foreign Affairs' Minister of Burundi,
Alain Aimé Nyamitwe.
Speaking to the press at the end of the meeting the top
diplomat of Burundi described the longstanding relations
between the two countries as “fruitful”, and he said that he had
exchanged views with Angolan President concerning the way
to enhance and strengthen alluded cooperation since the two
countries are members of the International Conference on the
Great Lakes Region (ICGLR), of which the Head of State, José
Eduardo dos Santos, is acting president.
"It is imperative that both countries join synergies in terms of
cooperation, both bilaterally and the ICGLR and the African
Union," said Alain Aimé Nyamitwe, which also took the
opportunity to transmit to the Angolan leader the current
political and military status in Burundi, following completion
of the recent parliamentary and presidential elections.
In this chapter (situation in Burundi after elections), he
informed that he had informed the President José Eduardo
dos Santos that his country at this time, already have elected
institutions resulting from popular vote, since the legislative
occurred on 21st June of this year and the presidentials on 21st
July.

livre da SADC, mas primeiro criando certa capacidade de
organização interna e alcançar um certo desenvolvimento que
permita exportar os seus produtos.
Para Georges Chikoti, “caso contrário seriamos apenas um país
importador, sem poder travar os produtos que entram”.
Declarou que quanto mais tempo levar para amadurecer,
melhor será. “Não há pressa, há necessidade de se fazer bem esta
entrada à zona de livre comércio”.

Angola will join the Free Trade Zone of the Southern Africa
Development Community (SADC) in 2017, if the country takes

The minister declared that the longer it takes to mature, the

Congo Democrático.
Apontou o Caminho de Ferro de Benguela (CFB), a Refinaria do
Lobito, o Aeroporto Internacional da Catumbela como empresas
potenciadoras do corredor.
Por seu turno, o administrador municipal do Lobito, Alberto
Ngongo, disse que uma vez que a linha do CFB até ao Luau está
concluído, urge a necessidade de se manter alguns espaços
territoriais para o potenciamento do corredor do Lobito.
"Agora que foi concluída a linha-férrea até ao Luau, urge
necessidade de ampliação do espaço logístico para despachantes
e outros equipamentos importante para o crescimento
económico", disse.
Para o regedor municipal do Lobito, Afonso Sukumula, a

Jesus Pereira, said on 20th August 2015 that this

the festivities of the city of Lobito, marked on 2nd

Director said that the Lobito corridor is a development

between the corridor and domestic and foreign investors of
the quadrangular between Angola, Zambia, Namibia and

He pointed the Railway Track Benguela (CFB), the Refinery

which would stimulate the corridor.
In turn, the administrator of Lobito, Alberto Ngongo said
that once the line of the CFB to the Luau is complete, there
is an urgent need to maintain some territorial spaces for
the empowerment of Lobito corridor.
"Now that the railway line was completed by the Luau,
there is an urgent need to expand the logistics space to
dispatchers and other important equipment for the
economic growth," he said.
To the municipal mayor of Lobito, Afonso Sukumula, the
existence of Lobito corridor is the result of gains of peace.

A economia angolana deverá alcançar uma estabilidade
irreversível em pelo menos cinco anos, o que se afigura
possível, dado ao incentivo do Governo ao empresariado
nacional para a diversificação do sector, considerou o
economista Francisco Chocolate.
Em declarações à Angop, no Lubango, para se pronunciar
sobre o actual momento que o país vive, o também
professor universitário disse que em cinco anos o país
pode deixar de depender exclusivamente do petróleo,
basta continuar com a aposta na industrialização da
economia.
“Vamos ter uma economia mais forte, não petrolífera,
porque os esforços do Executivo têm-se versado na
diversificação”, ressaltou.
“O petróleo é ainda o nosso principal produto de
exportação e para deixar de depender quase que
exclusivamente dele, é necessário industrializar a nossa
economia, e é o que está a ser feito actualmente e que em
uma década pode se alicerçar”, frisou.

Abrahão Gourgel , que falava sobre a nova lei no seminário sobre
“Investimento Privado”, referiu que o papel desempenhado pela
Agência Nacional do Investimento Privado (Anip) vai passar para
os ministérios e isso vai conferir maior celeridade do investimento
privado, porque serão os departamentos ministeriais a lidarem
directamente com os investidores.
A lei anterior, segundo o ministro, permitiu que Angola atraísse um
volume maior de investimentos, mas o país enfrentou dificuldades
no tocante a maior captação de investimento qualificado.
Prosseguiu dizendo que o país não foi bem sucedido como esperava
com a lei antiga, através da captação de muitos investimentos.
Referiu a nova lei procurou eliminar burocracias e entraves ao
investimento privado assim como disciplinar o repatriamento de
capitais.
Justificou, nesse âmbito, que muitos investidores repatriavam
capitais mesmo antes dos retornos dos investimentos.
A nova Lei do Investimento Privado prioriza as parcerias com os
privados e apresenta uma definição de empresa angolana.
Segundo o titular da pasta de Economia, a nova lei define
empresa angolana aquela que tem pelo menos 51 porcento de
participação angolana.
A nova Lei do Investimento Privado tem 67 artigos e integra e
prevê, entre outras disposições, benefícios e incentivos ao
investimento, sanções , direitos , deveres e garantias.
O evento foi uma iniciativa coordenada entre a Casa Civil do
Presidente da República, o Ministério da Economia e o
Secretariado do Conselho de Ministros.
O seminário abordou os temas “ Grandes linhas da política
Nacional do investimento privado”, com base na Lei Geral do
Investimento privado, dirigido pelo ministro da Economia,
Abrahão Gourgel, e o “ Projecto de regulamento das Lei do
Investimento Privado”, ministrado pelo coordenador da
comissão de reforma do Estado, do partido MPLA, Carlos Maria
da Silva Feijó.

Angola will be faster
P
rivate investment in Angola will be faster with the new Private
Investment Law, adopted on 11 August (Law 14/15), said on 17th
August 2015 here the Minister of Economy, Abrahão Gourgel.
The Minister, who was speaking about the new law at the seminar
on "Private Investment", said the role of the National Private
Investment Agency (ANIP) will be transferred to the ministries
and this will provide greater speed of private investment, because
it will be the ministerial departments to deal directly with
investors.
The previous law, according to the minister, enabled Angola to
attract a greater volume of investment, but the country faced
difficulties with respect to higher capturing of qualified
investment.
He went on saying that the country was not successful as expected
with the former law, through the attraction of many investments.
According to him, the new law sought to eliminate bureaucratic
procedures and barriers to private investment as well as regulate
the repatriation of capitals.
He justified in this context that many investors repatriated
capitals even before investment returns.
The new Private Investment Law prioritizes joint ventures s with
the private sector and provides a definition of Angolan company.
According to the holder of Economics folder, the new law defines
Angolan company that has at least 51 percent of Angola's
participation.
The new Private Investment Law has 67 articles and integrates
and provides, among other things, benefits and investment
incentives, sanctions, rights, duties and guarantees.
The event was held under a joint initiative of the Civil Office of the
Angolan President, Ministry of Economy and the Secretariat of
the Cabinet Council.
The seminar covered the themes "Outline of National policy of
private investment", based on the General Law of Private
Investment, headed by Economy Minister Abrahao Gourgel, and
the "Draft regulation of Private Investment Law," taught by the
coordinator reform of the State committee of the ruling MPLA
party, Carlos Maria da Silva Feijó.

He said on the occasion it is also his country’s interest to set up
joint ventures with Angolans, which can produce locally.
According to him, being Angola a member of the Southern Africa

para aqueles municípios que já têm alguma condição para a
transformação, sobretudo, de produtos agrícolas.
A par disso, a ministra disse que a FMCA está muito boa e
salientou que é preciso dar vida aos municípios e às cidades. “ É
preciso dar vida ao interior e começa-se já a sentir isso mesmo”.
Esta é a segunda edição da FMCA, que se realiza em simultâneo
com a Bolsa Internacional do Turismo de Angola (Bitur) Okavango 2015.
O evento foi inaugurado pelo Ministro da Administração do
Território (MAT), Bornito de Sousa, e conta com a participação
de 350 expositores e com a representação dos 163 municípios de
Angola. A exposição decorre sob o lema “A vida faz-se nos
municípios”. Durante quatro dias, isto é, até 9 de Agosto, as
empresas e os municípios vão expor bens e serviços e
potencialidades económicas, turísticas e culturais.

Speaking to Angop, at the end of the Fair of the Counties and
Cities of Angola (FMCA), the holder of Industry folder said the
programs concerning industrialization were not only
implemented because they are waiting for the resources, but this
year some experiments will be performed.

This is the second edition of FMCA, held simultaneously with the
International Exchange of Tourism of Angola (Bitur) - Okavango
2015.
The event was inaugurated by the Minister of the Territory

motto "Life is in the municipalities." For four days, or until 9th

moda nacional
A estilista angolana Baby Barata reconheceu hoje, 18 de Agosto
de 2015, em Luanda, existir avanços no sector da moda nacional,
com o surgimento de mais criadores e eventos que promovem
essa actividade cultural a nível do país.
Em declarações à Angop, a propósito do crescimento da moda
durante os 40 anos da independência nacional, alcançada a 11 de
Novembro de 1975, a estilista disse que actualmente acontecem
muitos eventos de moda, o mercado está expandido e
concorrido, a produção é maior e há criadores angolanos com
notoriedade internacional.
“Comparativamente aos anos anteriores, a sector da moda
registou um desenvolvimento enorme”, reforçou.
Apesar destes avanços, a criadora admitiu haver ainda
necessidade de se investir mais no sector, para poder ajudar no
desenvolvimento e diversificação da economia do país.
“As instituições públicas e os empresários devem investir mais
na indústria têxtil, na formação de estilistas, na promoção e
comercialização da produção dos criadores nacionais, de forma a
desenvolver mais este sector cultural”, detalhou.
A moda, realçou, quando bem explorada contribui na geração de
mais postos de trabalho, na arrecadação de receitas para o
Orçamento Geral do Estado (OGE), na divulgação da cultura do
país, entre outros benefícios.

and events that promote this cultural activity at the country level.
Speaking to ANGOP, about the growth of fashion during the 40
years of national independence, reached on 11th November 1975,
the designer said that currently there were many fashion events,

there are Angolan creators with international reputation.
"Comparing to the previous years, the fashion sector registered a
great development," she stressed.

Fashion, she highlighted, when well exploited contributes to
generating more jobs in revenues for the State Budget (OGE), in
spreading the culture of the country, among other benefits.

VI edition of the Book Fair, promoted by the
Provincial Directorate for the Culture in Benguela has
gathered since 10th August cultural operators in order to
attract more readers and encourage reading among
students, parents and society in general.
The fair was attended by bookstores and local publishers
which exposed various literary and didactic works.
The event was regarded by visitors as one of the most
important cultural activities in this area, taking into
account the importance of books for the knowledge.
Immaculate Ventura, an official of the Directorate of
Culture, called for greater participation of society,
fundamentally students, academics and guardians, in the
reading activities, as a healthy exercise for the mind.
The official said that reading also promotes social and
intellectual changes.

também inúmeros prémios, com destaque para o de
"Melhor artista lusófono do ano", conquistado no concurso

Ainda em 2006, Anselmo Ralph foi nomeado pela cadeia
televisiva sul-africana ‘Channel O’ o melhor cantor de
R&B, tendo sido também nomeado na categoria de Melhor
Artista Africano na gala de consagração dos MTV Europe
Music Awards 2006 (Novembro), realizados em
Copenhaga, na Dinamarca.

natural da província do Huambo.
Estreou-se no mercado discográfico em 2004, com o

2010, o disco “Cara & Coroa”.
Pérola é a única voz feminina angolana a conquistar o
prémio Kora, na categoria de Melhor Voz Feminina da
África Austral, em 2005.
A artista foi também distinguida como “Diva da Música”,
em 2009, “Diva do Momento” e “Diva do Ano”, em 2010,
no concurso Divas Angola.
