de forma invertida, alterando a ordem cromática do material.
Partindo da rigidez da trama de caráter industrial e sua demarcação precisa para chegar à
flexibilidade do desenho das pautas pintadas à mão, seus transbordamentos, Cinthia Marcelle
compõe, nesta sua segunda individual na galeria Box4, duas grandes séries que podem ser
vistas como espécies de cadernos de anotações.
Duas composições que se espelham, uma funcionando como negativo da outra. Conjuntos
que, em sua relação, propõem um jogo de ir e vir entre escala, cor e inversão.
In stripped white and colored fabrics, the artist tries to redo the course of the stripes, in an
inverse way, altering then the chromatic material order.
Going from the rigid industrial-like yarn and its precise demarcation to the flexibility of the
hand-painted stripes and its overruns, Cinthia Marcelle composes, in her second solo show at
the Silvia Cintra+Box4 gallery, two big series that can be seen as a notebook; two compositions
that reflect each other, one working as the negative of the other; collections that in their
relation, propose a game of back and forth among scale, color and inversion.
