Ana Margarida Barata is a teacher of Language Competences in the Computer Science
Department of the Higher Technical School of Engineering in Oporto (ISEP), one of the
several higher institutions that belong to the Oporto Polytechnic School.
Ana Barata graduated in Modern Languages and Literatures in 1998 from the
Humanities Faculty of the Oporto University. In February 2005 she concluded the
Master degree in Anglo-American Studies (English Culture) also in the Humanities
Faculty of the Oporto University.
She is one of the teachers responsible for the development of the language course
within the project “Languages for eCommerce”, which has started in November 2004
and is now reaching its final stage.
