Tudo começou quando os irmãos Roca, proprietários do
famoso El Celler de Can Roca, decidiram criar um espaço
no centro de Girona, Espanha, para expor as deliciosas
sobremesas do restaurante. Assim nasceu a geladaria
Rocambolesc, onde, entre gelados 100% naturais,
cupcakes e sobremesas, se saboreia o lado doce de um
dos melhores restaurantes do mundo.
Inspirando-se no mundo mágico de Willy Wonka,
personagem do livro Charlie e a Fábrica de Chocolate, o
estúdio Sandra Tarruella Interioristas criou um espaço
vintage, que transporta os visitantes de volta ao tempo
das primeiras geladarias e cujo conceito decoração valeu
ao Rocambolesc o prémio de Melhor Bar da Europa 2013
nos 2013 Restaurant & Bar Design Awards.

It all started when the Roca brothers, owners of the
famous El Celler de Can Roca, decided to create a space in
the centre of Girona, Spain, to display the delicious desserts
from the restaurant. The Rocambolesc ice cream parlour
was thus born, where, between 100% natural ice creams,
cupcakes and desserts, you can taste the sweet side of
one of the world’s best restaurants.
Taking its inspiration in the magical world of Willy Wonka,
the character from the book Charlie and the Chocolate
Factory, the Sandra Tarruella Interioristas studio has
created a vintage space that whisks visitors back to the
time of the first ice cream parlours and whose interior
design concept has earned Rocambolesc the award for
Best Bar in Europe 2013 at the 2013 Restaurant & Bar
Design Awards.
