2.3 TECHNOLOGIC COURSE ON INFORMATICS
Concluded the secondary education studies (12th high school year) on natural scientific
dominant with technical specification in Informatics technology in 1998 with the final
classification of 14/20 values at Colégio de Gaia.
3. ACADEMIC FORMATION
3.1 COMPUTER SCIENCE DEGREE
In 1998 entered the Computer Science Course at the Faculty of Sciences of Porto
University (with 154/200 points). In 2005 concluded the graduation with final classification
of 14/20 values.
3.1.1 Final Project of Computer Science Course
In 2005 made the course final project at the Engineering Faculty of Porto in the ISR-P
laboratory with the classification of 19/20 values.
3.2 MSC IN INFORMATICS ENGINEERING
In 2006 joined the Master in Sciences course in Informatics Engineering at the
Engineering Faculty of Porto. Thesis: “Projection of Video in Virtual Environments –
Enrichment of 3D Scenarios with images collected by robotic vehicles”. Final classification:
Good with Distinction.
3.3 PHD IN COMPUTER SCIENCE
In 2007 entered the joint Doctoral Programme in Computer Science of Universidade do
Minho, Universidade de Aveiro and Universidade do Porto (MAP). First Bologna curricular
year approved.

Since 2005 – researcher in the R&D Engineering Group of Decision and Control at the
“Instituto de Sistemas e Robótica – Porto” (ISR-P) at FEUP.

“KOS – Kit of underwater operations”. 01/09/2005 - 31/05/2006 Funding by POSI,
Medida 1.3– Partners, besides FEUP(Engineer Faculty of Porto), APDL(OPorto
harbour), o ISEP (Institute of engineer of Porto), the VERIMAG and UCB. This project
goal was to develop a versatile tele-operated platform to support diversified underwater
operations.
