Project involves the development of a recently patented technique (EZ‐Ribbon) for growing silicon ribbon films for application in photovoltaics. As a PhD student: Supervised two final year project undergraduate students and was in charge of guiding a new PhD student through their first year. Also involved in assisting electrochemistry laboratory sessions for chemistry undergraduate students and evaluating their work. Extra Curricular Activities 2003‐2004: Co‐organiser of the “Millennium Lectures Series” at the University of Bath which involved significant fund raising, inviting and organising world renowned speakers and organising the lecture events themselves. Leisure An avid footballer, having participated in regional championships whilst in the UK. I also enjoy surfing, hiking or cycling in the outdoors and, when possible, skiing.
