CONCEPT
Following the success of the first edition in 2014, CCILC announces the II Portugal-China Gala, with the Business Merit Awards Ceremony,
distinguishing the entities that contributed the most for the development of the economic and commercial bilateral relations; this edition will also
include a Business Conference and the 1st Portugal-China Corporate Forum.
This initiative intends to provide new participation possibilities to a wide range of economic agents, from different sectors and dimensions, in a
complete work-day with multiple activities related to the promotion of economic relations between Portugal and China, justified by the current
intensity and dynamism of those relations.
The Business Conference, in the morning, will highlight on the most important bilateral topics and it will count with the participation of several
companies, institutions and official entities. These participants are also expected at the Corporate Forum, which will integrate an exhibition of stands,
with a proper space for B2B meetings, focusing on the trade and investment promotion. In the evening, there will take place the 2nd edition of the
Portugal-China Gala with the Business Merit Awards Ceremony.
With the upgrade of this Gala’s excellence and dimension, CCILC wants it to take root as a major bilateral event in every Portuguese and Chinese entities’ schedule.

GOALS AND MODEL
• Strengthen the bilateral relations, by promoting the contact between different entrepreneurs from several sectors; reinforce the ties between academic
and scientific institutions and with the business associations of both countries;
• Increase the mutual understanding about investment and internationalization strategies;
• Identify new sectors and business opportunities;
• Exchange of information and experiences.
The model is based on three areas:
• The Business Conference, more academic, informative, with knowledge-sharing;
• The Corporate Forum, more practical, with exhibition of products and services, promoting the direct contact between companies;
• The 2nd edition of the Portugal-China Gala will stimulate the networking and includes a dinner, artistic performances and the Business Merit Awards Ceremony.
Consolidate an annual event between Portugal and China, bringing together companies, institutions and official entities, covering multidisciplinary topics
that fulfill the bilateral agenda of the Portuguese-Chinese relations.
