The Social Cultural Center of Coriscada, is destined for the Social Solidarity and the object of promoting social solidarity, Death, Culture, Sports,
Recreation, Urban Heritage Preservation, Archeology and Support for Development of Youth Activities and Progress in General Town of Coriscada and
scope covers the Town of Coriscada, City of Meda, and national.
The association promotes various activities each year, we highlight the smooth functioning of the seat with library, living room, and two as public
Internet access, in sport, tournament, shot to the target, ride mountain biking, running section, culture, Sunday art and culture, to promote the crafts,
festival of folklore and traditional music, to provide associated meetings, tours, to support youth activities and other occasional OTL in the field of
archeology, participate in the project of "Valley of the Moro" - Coriscada, emphasize that the year of 2008 was promoted to permanent exhibition of
archaeological finds.
Info about the Camp (aims, tasks and activities – work, leisure and visits)
Objectives: Participate in the design of archeology in the Valley Moro - Corisco county of Meda, continuing the established protocol between the Center
of Socio Cultural Coriscada, City of Meda, the Town Board and archaeologist Dr. António Sá Coixão.
Leisure: The organizer and monitors, with an approximate time of three hours, visiting the region, (description made daily in the application) it is
intended that the activities are participatory and involve other local youth.
Work Tasks: Participate in the work of archaeological research, excavation, washing of material, classification of material found, and to participate in a
roundtable discussion and promotion of the Vale do Mouro. Youth must express interest in the property.

Building or tent option for the participants.
It provided the lunch and dinner, made by the institution, the breakfast is prepared by the participants, (condiments provided by the institution).

Town of Coriscada is located in the northern part of the Beira Alta, belongs to the municipality of Meda, District of Guarda, is near the archaeological
park of the Valley Côa (30KIm), the medieval village of Trancoso (16km) and the Historical Village of Marialva (5 km) and the seat of county (8km).
Have access by IP2, former national road EN 102, Celorico Beira / Bragança, with the extension of access to 104 km. (For details of location and

By train from Lisbon and Porto, (www.cp.pt) should land on the Celorico Beira, Coriscada going to be a taxi.
The organization promotes (CSCC) may make the transport of Celorico for Coriscada, when requested, must submit all data to e.mail: [email protected] name, country, date and time of arrival.
