The event is almost as a display of the new musical trends in the most different genres, introducing itself in a special spot and targeted to a quite demanding audience, where Portuguese speaking countries are always in the limelight. A festival runs for three months, bringing the “here and now” as if we were in any other metropolis. It generates trends, ideas, discussion and unity to an audience, as diversified as demanding about its line-up. This year the highlight goes to the renowned artist Bianca Casady of Cocorosie with her world première, introducing a solo project before marking presence in the most emblematic festivals across Europe, among several other great guest artist from Africa, Brazil, USA and Portugal. The concerts are held always at 9.45pm, in a heavenly place - the Estalagem da Ponta do Sol, 80 meters high, having as back scenery one of the most beautiful villages of the island, Ponta do Sol. Entry is limited to prior-confirmation of attendance.
