O corpo – perpétuo e infinito – irrompe no espaço com a sua mera fisicalidade,
distinguindo-se do seu ambiente. Apenas os movimentos da sua estrutura denotam
os espaços invísiveis. Esta escultura sonora em movimento é baseada em gravações
de movimentos de uma pessoa real. Uma bailarina interpreta a peça musical Kreukeltape by Machinefabriek, da forma mais próxima possível com o movimento
do seu próprio corpo. Foi gravada por três cameras com profundidade (Kinect),
onde se juntou depois a intersecção de imagens num volume tridimensional
(nuvem de pontos em 3d).
The body – perpetual and infinite – erupts in the space with its mere physicality,
distinguishing itself from its environment. Only the movements of its frame reference
the otherwise invisible space. This moving sound sculpture is based on the recorded
motion data of a real person. A dancer interprets a musical piece – Kreukeltape by
Machinefabriek – as closely as possible with the movement of her own body. She was
recorded by three depth cameras (Kinect), in which the intersection of the images was
later put together to a three dimensional volume (3d point cloud).
ONFORMATIVE é um estudio de arte digital e design. Guiado por uma abordagem emocional, procura
sempre por novas formas de expressão criativa. Através de uma prática experimental, são criados
trabalhos para desafiar as fronteiras entre arte, design e tecnologia. Observações de paisagens
exteriores servem de inspiração para explorar as possibilidades existentes entre o analógico e o
digital, para examinar a relação entre humanos e tecnologia. Através de uma prática transdisciplinar
e de cooperação, a linguagem visual de onformative é variável. Onformative foi fundada em 2010 por
Julia Laub e Cedric Kiefer. Os seus trabalhos foram exibidos em galerias e festivais europeus como
dos EUA, Austrália e China.

ONFORMATIVE it’s a studio for digital art and design. Guided by an emotional approach, it constantly
search for new forms of creative expression. Through an experimental practice, works are created to
challenge the boundaries between art, design and technology. Observations of surroundings serve
as inspiration to explore the possibilities that lie between analog and digital fields to examine the
relationship between humans and technology. Through an interdisciplinary and collaborative practice,
the visual language of onformative is variable. It Founded by Julia Laub and Cedric Kiefer in 2010.
The studios works have been exhibited at galleries and festivals across Europe as well as in the US,
Australia and China.
