A Atuação da enfermagem sobre o controle da dor em pacientes oncológicos.

RESUMO
Aumenta a cada dia o numero de pessoas que sofrem de dor oncológica e muitas
delas permanecem sem tratamento adequado. No entanto, existe métodos capazes de
controlar este tipo de dor. Os cuidados atentos da enfermagem, associados a terapêutica
medicamentosa, são as bases para manejar a dor do câncer, tornando-a suportável para o
paciente.
Os enfermeiros devem ter em mente que os pacientes tem o direito de ter a sua dor
aliviada; a persistência da dor ocasiona sofrimento inútil para o doente, familiares, amigos e
equipe de saúde.
É importante que a enfermagem busque sempre a atualização do conhecimento e do
preparo para lidar com os problemas do paciente com câncer, uma vez que ele é colocado
frente a frente com frustrações de um trabalho com poucos retornos gratificantes. Por esta
razão, faz-se necessário o real entendimento da sua função, de forma a ser impulsionado a
continuar suas atividades.
Educar os profissionais que atuam na oncologia para o esclarecimento do publico
quanto ao medo exagerado da dor neoplásica e de extrema importância, para que os
pacientes que necessitarem de terapias antiálgicas possam ser assistidos de maneira mais
tranqüila, sem medos ou fantasmas que aumentam a ansiedade e induzem a sofrimentos
psicológicos desnecessários que dificultando o seu tratamento.
ABSTRACT
The performance of the nursing on the control of pain in oncológicos patients.
It increases to each day I number it of people who suffer from oncológica pain and
many of them remain without adequate treatment. However, it exists methods capable to
control this type of pain. The intent cares of the nursing, associates the therapeutical
medicamentosa, are the bases to manejar the pain of the cancer, becoming it bearable for
the patient.
The nurses must have in mind that the patients has the right to have its alliviated
pain; the persistence of pain causes useless suffering for the sick person, familiar, friends
and team of health.
It is important that the nursing always searchs the update of the knowledge and the
preparation to deal with the problems of the patient with cancer, a time that it is placed
front the front with frustrations of a work with few rewarding returns. For this reason, the
real agreement of its function becomes necessary, of form to be stimulated to continue its
activities.
To educate the professionals who act in the oncologia for the clarification of it I
publish how much to the exaggerated fear of neoplásica pain and extreme importance, so
that the patients that to need antiálgicas therapies can be attended in calmer way, without
fears or ghosts that increase the anxiety and induce the unnecessary psychological
sufferings that making it difficult its treatment.
