Domingos, seu criado preto e maneta, de um mastim e de um "Jaguar E", que o leva da Gafeira a Lisboa e
às prostitutas.
In Portugal of the late sixties, a rich landowner leads an idle life of hunting (animals and women),
drinking and enjoying himself. He owns everything and everybody around him not only the objects, the
horses, the dogs, the land and the lagoon but also the people, like his servants and his own beautiful wife,
whom he keeps secluded inside his house like an emulator of the old feudal lords.

This romantic comedy is about the lonely hearts of nine characters who break up or find love in present
day Rio de Janeiro. It focuses on Mary Ann Simpson (Irving) a flight attendant turned English teacher
who lives in Rio, as she tries to keep her students out of trouble, and finds the man of her dreams. But the
lives of Mary and her new love interest are about to be intertwined with the interference of many other
characters and incidents

In Portugal, late in the night of April 24 to 25, 1974, the radio broadcasts an outlawed song: "Grandola".
It could have been just an act of insubordination by a rebellious journalist. It was the preplanned signal
triggering the military coup which changed the country and the destiny of vast territories in Africa.

dog called Baleia) wander about the barren land searching for a better place to live, with food and work.
But the drought and misery destroy their hopes.

O filme conta a história de Jaime (Júlio César), professor universitário que um dia encontra o inspector da
PIDE que o torturou e a um dos seus camaradas, Marcelino, que acabou por morrer. O encontro dá-se
num tribunal, quando Jaime vai assistir ao julgamento em que a sua filha Catarina (Fernanda Serrano) se
estreia na defesa de um arguido que é, por coincidência, Marcelino.
In 1970, a man is tortured and murdered by the regime's secret police. 40 years later, his friend, who had
also been tortured, recognizes the man. Along with three old friends and the victim’s daughter, they
kidnap the man and take him to an isolated house. Once there, the concepts of justice and revenge begin
to mix dangerously in a private trial with irreversible consequences.

ouve e transcreve, surge um Brasil desconhecido e fascinante, um verdadeiro panorama da população
migrante, que tenta manter os laços com os parentes e o passado
Dora (Fernanda Montenegro) is a former school teacher who makes a living by writing letters for illiterate
people passing through Rio de Janeiro’s main train station - Central do Brasil. Commuting to the city
from impoverished suburbs, workers flock to her, hoping to contact lost family members, send love
letters, or simply relate the details of their lives.
