Press Release Lisbon, January 17th 2014 euroAtlantic sport congratulates Cristiano Ronaldo frequent flyer euroAtlantic airways (EAA), congratulates the captain of the National football team, Cristiano Ronaldo and the Portuguese Football Federation, for his second Ballon d´Or of his career, attributed by the Fédération International de Football Association – FIFA. The team and Cristiano, were frequent passengers of EAA in the first stage of qualification towards the World Cup Brazil in 2014. EAA´s Chairman/CEO, Tomaz Metello, introduced some alterations in the Boeing B767-300 ER (CS-TLO) cabin, such as a wider Executive Class, with 52 seats, designed as euroAtlantic sport, with exclusive features for high competition teams. Currently this new version of the executive cabin is sought out by National Teams of other Countries that will “fight” in the next World Cup. EAA´s Chairman/CEO, Tomaz Metello said, “EAA has accustomed having Cristiano, who does not show his feelings, that withdraws in his own secure place, 1A (one Alfa), when his results are less positive, being more exuberant when he is happy, as the last couple flights (Ireland and Sweden), when celebrated in our CLS-TLO, the second of two hat-trick and Portugal´s clearance to Brazil. euroAtlantic´s crew that deprive with Cristiano, players and technical team, were proud for having granted the best conditions in transport and therefore it was very rewarding”. Concluding Tomaz Metello noted, “it was a great pleasure looking at the Ballon d´Or crowd, some athletes in the FIFA Gala, which have flown with EAA , such as the late Eusébio da Silva Ferreira that flew in euroAtlantic sport.” euroAtlantic was founded by Chairman/CEO, Tomaz Metello.
