NOTICE TO THE MARKET
São Paulo, November 4, 2011 - São Carlos Empreendimentos e Participações S.A. (“São
Carlos”) (BM&F Bovespa: SCAR3) hereby announces that on November 3, 2011, its
subsidiary Top Center Empreendimentos e Participações Ltda. signed an “Instrument for
Taking Possession and Other Covenants”, to formalize the delivery of the Jauaperi building
(tower D) at Centro Administrativo Rio Negro, located in Barueri (SP), to Tamisa
Empreendimentos e Participações Ltda. (“Tamisa”).
São Carlos sold the building to Tamisa on December 10, 2010 and announced the
transaction to the market through a material fact published on the same date.
São Carlos, through its subsidiary, continues to own two office towers and the parking deck in
the Centro Administrativo Rio Negro.
