Epistemologia da Autoconsciência e Metafísica do Sujeito na Filosofia Moderna
1.0 Objetivo
O curso consistirá na análise e discussão de textos selecionados de Descartes, Locke,
Hume e Kant sobre a epistemologia da autoconsciência e a metafísica do sujeito (com atenção
especial ao problema da identidade pessoal). Igual atenção será dada à reconstrução das teses
e argumentos desses filósofos, considerando sua situação histórica, e à reflexão crítica sobre os
mesmos, no que procuraremos nos beneficiar de autores mais recentes.

Descartes: do Cogito à distinção real alma-corpo
Locke: consciência e identidade pessoal
Hume: self, identidade e ficção
Kant: apercepção pura, sentido interno e a unidade do sujeito
3.0 Metodologia e Avaliação
Aulas expositivas. Duas provas individuais, dissertativas e com consulta irrestrita (na
metade e no final do semestre).
