INTRODUCTION
Evolution
Belmetal Indústria e Comércio Ltda. started its operations in March 1962, in
São Paulo, by distributing aluminum in the shape of sheets, rolls, and extruded
profiles. Since then, its work––marked by great professionalism, ethics,
innovation, and good customer service have resulted in a successful history
that today allows the company to hold a leading position in the distribution
of manufactured and semi-manufactured aluminum products in Brazil. In
the Building & Construction segment, the company holds exclusivity in the
distribution of extruded products and roofing solutions manufactured by
Votorantim Metais-CBA, Brazil´s largest primary aluminum manufacturer. Since
2008, Belmetal also distributes products classified as non-aluminum, which is
currently done through the Plastics Division.
Aluminum. We have a strong presence in the nationwide distribution of
products made of this material that is widely used in a number of segments
(such as industry, building & construction, transportation, consumer goods,
among others), but we also design and develop our own solutions in a
customized and cost-effective manner, in order to comply with the needs of
manufacturers, contractors, and architects.
We design systems for residential and commercial uses, organized in a variety
of product lines that can be combined in different ways to meet the individual
requirements and variations of a construction work or business. The lightness,
usefulness, functionality, and durability that aluminum shows add great versatility to our product line, enabling the products to be used in a
number of different sectors: transportation, furniture, coverings and coatings, thermal insulators, home appliances, electro-electronic appliances,
general refrigeration, and consumer goods.
Plastics. Belmetal’s Plastics Division is focused on the distribution of a variety of products, such as polycarbonate sheets and roofing, ACM
coatings (MetalBond, MetalDecor, AluCoat, Alpolic® FR), silicone items, LED Sign, acrylic sheets, engineering plastics, among others.
Always in quest of providing the best service possible, Belmetal has tried, over its history, to foresee trends, frequently offering more than what is
expected by the market. This is how the company differentiates itself and adds value to its customers’ businesses: by surprising them.
