obra foi leiloada – tendo por base de licitação
50.000$00 (€250,00) e tendo sido vendida por
1.300.000$00 (€6500,00 aprox.) – e oferecida
à Câmara Municipal de Lisboa por Jorge de
Brito. Esta pintura está exposta na Casa
Fernando Pessoa, equipamento municipal,
desde a sua abertura, em 1993.

retrato. Este novo trabalho é uma réplica
exacta
do
primeiro
com
a
particularidade de ser uma imagem invertida,
como que reflectida num espelho. Este
segundo retrato faz parte da colecção do

Calouste
Gulbenkian
Foundation
to
Almada Negreiros and therefore a second
Portrait of Fernando Pessoa was painted. This
new work replicates the first one with
exactitude although as if seen through a
looking glass. This other work is part of the
Modern Art Centre of the Calouste Gulbenkian
Foundation.
