Ricardo Pereira Ricardo Fernando Silva Santos Pereira was born in Porto, Portugal, in 1959 1983 1993 1999 1994 1996 – 2000 1999 – 2000 2000 to 2002 2002 2006 2007 He qualified from the University of Porto, at St. Johns Hospital (Hospital de São João) With the fellowship of the National Health Service (Serviço Nacional de Saúde, SNS), he has graduated as Specialist of General Surgery, at Braga General Hospital, witch is committed to the new Minho University Faculty of Medicine He as been admitted to the Department of Surgery He undertook Fellowship of the College of Surgery of the Portuguese Medical Association (Ordem dos Médicos, OM) He develops activity as General Surgeon at the Department of Surgery and as Intensive Care Doctor in the Polyvalent Intensive Care Unit at the General Hospital of Braga He undertook the Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS, ACS), Student and Instructor Courses in Lisbon and become a Portuguese ATLS Instructor He undertake a Pos Graduation in Emergency Medicine, at the Porto University of Medicine, S. Johns Hospital (Hospital de São João) He became Senior Consultant of General Surgery He undertook the Definitive Surgical Trauma Care (DSTC, IATSIC) course, in Porto DSTC National Faculty Currently Ricardo Pereira is still working in the Braga General Hospital as a General Surgeon Particular keen interests include Gastric surgery Trauma and Emergency Surgery
