MOTA-ENGIL clarifies the meaning of its release on the conclusion of the
reorganization process
Following news disseminated by the press, we herein clarify shareholders and the general
public on the meaning of the January 5th announcement regarding the conclusion of MOTAENGIL’S GROUP reorganization process.
As such, where sub-holding company MOTA-ENGIL, CONCESSÕES DE TRANSPORTES, SGPS, SA,
is mentioned, it refers to the direct stake it owns in the stakes the group owns in this business
area, therefore excluding, unlike what was mentioned by the press, the minority stake held in
Lusoponte (the concessionaire for the Tagus river crossings).
Moreover, in a previous release (as of December 11th) the stakes that were transferred had
been mentioned: “Following the required authorizations, the stakes in AENOR, LUSOSCUT DA
COSTA DE PRATA, BEIRAS LITORAL E ALTA and GRANDE PORTO, where transferred to the subholding company that had been incorporated for this specific purpose. The aggregate length of
the latter exceeds 500 kms of motorway concessions. Likewise, the stake in METRO DO SUL DO
TEJO, SA was transferred to the abovementioned sub-holding company”.
