4. REGISTRATION AND PRICES
You can register through the website of UAEJJF Deadline: November 29, 2015.
Check date: November 30, 2015. (no changes will be accepted after this
date).
Refund policy: The registration fee is non-refundable.
•
Exemption: Athletes who are alone in their bracket are eligible to
receive a full refund of the registration fee if they
contact [email protected] and request to withdraw their name
from the competition prior to the end of the appointed event
registration check day.
•
If you are alone in your bracket, you can
contact [email protected] up until the day before registration
check day and request a change on your registration; UAEJJF does
not guarantee that the division you want to be moved to will have
another competitor at the day of the event.
Prices: Until October 30th - USD $30. From October 31st to November
29th - USD $40.
All participants should also become a member of UAEJJF, for the price of
USD $25.
GIFT FOR COMPETITORS: All competitors will receive the event T-shirt.

5. LAND TRANSPORT
Competitors and visitors to HSBC Arena may hire shuttle vans, rental cars,
or taxis from local airports for a fee. For more information, consult a
transportation representative at your arrival airport.

During the event athletes and guests will have two vans available to shuttle
hotel / arena / hotel.
6. CHECK IN
Check-in is the first process the fighters will do when they arrive at the
tournament, a basic summary of the identification process is below:
Passport or valid ID Verification
After finishing the CHECK IN, the fighters are allowed to proceed to the
weight in.
7. WEIGH-IN
• Weigh in will be held with the Gi.
• Athletes may only weigh in and fight if they are carrying a photo ID
otherwise the athlete will be disqualified.
• If you don’t come to the weigh-in (to check weight) you will be
automatically disqualified.
• The schedule of the weigh in will be announced on the UAEJJF website.
For you convenience, you have two options to weigh-in:

8. KIMONO CHECK
• Kimono Check will be held right before your match.
• Only white, blue, and black Gis are allowed.
• We strongly recommend bringing more than one Gi in case one get
damaged during the match. 8. COACHES
Coaches will NOT be allowed in the fighting area on the first floor.
9. RULES MEETING
UAEJJF rules will be used in this event. Please check for rule details at the
UAEJJF website: http://www.uaejjf.org/pages/uaejjfRules
There will be a rule meeting held by the Official Head Referee from
UAEJJF. Coaches and competitors are welcome to participate.

The organizer of the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam, Rio de Janeiro 2015, the BJJF,
and UAEJJF will not be responsible for any physical or material damage of
any competitor. The organizer of the Grand Slam Los. Angeles 2015, the BJJF, and UAEJJF
has no liability for any claims of material damage or loss, injury, illness or
death arising during the participation and traveling in connection with these
events.

of the Brazil of your country.

PÃO DE AÇUCAR
The Sugarloaf tourist complex was built by the
Companhia Caminho Aéreo Pão de Açúcar
which still operates and maintains it. Designed to
entertain thousands of people at a privileged
location
the park is blessed by its panoramic beauty. The
Sugarloaf mountain
a trademark of Rio de Janeiro
has very little vegetation on its slopes. It consists in a single massive block of
granite-derived stone
molded by atmospheric pressure and temperature along its 600 million years
of age.

CORCOVADO
It is impossible to imagine a trip to Rio de
Janeiro without visiting Cristo Redentor. Located
on top of Corcovado's Mount
the monument is the best-known Brazilian image
famous all over the world. Every year
more than six hundred thousand people are
taken to Christ the Redeemer's statue through
the almost hundred-year-old Corcovado's
Railway
the oldest tourist excursion in the country.
COPACABANA
Copacabana is an upscale neighborhood
located in the south of the city of Rio de Janeiro
Brazil. It is considered one of the most famous and prestigious
neighborhoods in Brazil and one of the best known in the world. It has
the nickname Princess of the Sea of the South Zone and heart. It
borders the neighborhoods also noble da Lagoa
Ipanema
Botafogo and Rudder. Copacabana attracts a large number of tourists
to its more than eighty hotels
which are especially full during times of New Year and Carnival. At year
end
the traditional fireworks display at Copacabana Beach attracts a crowd
of people. The beach is considered the most famous and known the
world has about length of 6km
and beach you can see the Sugar Loaf and Morro do Leme
both rock mountains and green slopes.
