Ementa:
1) Noninvasive monitoring of the cardiovascular regulation based on heart rate variability
analysis: do non linear tools provide additional information;
2) Assessing complexity of short-term heart period variability through conditional entropy
approaches;
3) Evaluating complexity of short-term gheart period variability throught predictability
techniques;
4) Symbolization and pattern formation strategies for the assessment of cardiovascular
control;
5) Exploiting surrogate data to non linear dynamics and interactions in cardiovascular
control and Time irreversibility analysis: a tool to detect non linear dynamics in shortterm heart period variability;
6) Disentangling cardiovascular control mechanisms via multivariate modeling techniques:
the "spontaneous baroreflex" and Assessing complexity of the interactions among
cardiovascular variables via multivariate linear model-based approach.
