O grau de sucesso e produtividade da Rede Nacional de RMN será avaliado, essencialmente, pelo número e qualidade dos artigos
publicados com dados adquiridos nesta infra-estrutura.
Por isso é importante que sempre que dados adquiridos no LabRMN sejam utilizados para publicação, haja uma referência explícita na
secção “Acknowledgements” da publicação. Esta pode tomar uma de duas formas:
A) No caso de se justificar a co-autoria de um dos elementos do LabRMN o agradecimento tomará a seguinte forma:
We acknowledge LabRMN at FCT-UNL and Rede Nacional de RMN for access to the facilities. Rede Nacional de RMN is supported
withfunds from FCT, Projecto de Re-Equipamento Científico, Portugal.
B) No caso do apoio concedido não justificar co-autoria de membros do LabRMN, então o agradecimento tomará a forma seguinte:
We acknowledge LabRMN at FCT-UNL and Rede Nacional de RMN for access to the facilities, and “nome do membro do LabRMN” for
help in data acquisition. Rede Nacional de RMN is supported with funds from FCT, Projecto de Re-Equipamento Científico, Portugal.
A co-autoria de membros do LabRMN justifica-se sempre que for necessário envolvimento científico para além de apoio técnico normal,
i.e., quando houver contribuição significativa para análise e interpretação de espectros ou para a preparação do artigo científico.
The success and productivity of the Rede Nacional de RMN (National NMR Network) will be essentially evaluated by the number and
quality of the published articles including data acquired in this facility.
Therefore it is important that whenever data acquired in the LabRMN are used for publication, an explicit reference must be added to
the “Acknowledgements” section of the publication.This can take two forms:
A) If a LabRMN member is one of the publication authors the acknowledgement should be: We acknowledge LabRMN at FCT-UNL and
Rede Nacional de RMN for access to the facilities. Rede Nacional de RMN is supported with funds from FCT, Projecto de Re-Equipamento
Científico, Portugal.
B) If there was no involvement of the LabRMN staff during the spectral acquisition other than the normal maintenance of the equipment,
the acknowledgement should be: We acknowledge LabRMN at FCT-UNL and Rede Nacional de RMN for access to the facilities, and
“name of the LabRMN member” for help in data acquisition. Rede Nacional de RMN is supported with funds from FCT, Projecto de ReEquipamento Científico, Portugal.
The co-authorship of LabRMN members should be mandatory whenever there is scientific involvement other than the normal technical
support, e.g., when there was a significant contribution for spectral analysis and interpretation or during preparation of the scientific
publication.
