Charging the Solar Battery
Connect the longest cabel to the
solar charger port.
The LCD panel will show the
charging power from 1-5:
00:01 = Very slow
00:02 = Slow
00:03 = Average
00:04 = Good
00:05 = Best
Place the solar panel facing up towards direct
sunlight.
Charges fast
Always leave the lamp inside the house.

To turn on, press the on/off
switch once.
To turn up the level of the
light, press the switch once
more.
Carry in hand
To turn off, press the switch
one more time.

Charging the Phone
Connect the cable to
the phone.
Choose the proper adapter
for the phone.
Insert the other end
of the cable into the
charger port in the
solar lamp.
Connect the adapter to the
charging cable.
Shows that battery
is charging
Always use the correct adapter for the phone.
Never force the adapter into the phone.

Don’t let the screen or any other
part of the phone get wet.
“Swyping” (dragging a finger):
• For moving between screens
• Soft dragging motion with index finger
Don’t leave the phone near a
stove or outside the house.
Handle with care – it can break
easily.
Always use the protective bag.

• Touch quickly with index finger

Como Ligar e Desligar
Ligar:
• Pressionar a Tecla de Ligar sem soltar
• Soltar quando o telefone vibrar e aparece o
ecrã “Samsung Galaxy Y”
Desligar:
• Pressionar a Tecla de Ligar sem soltar até
vibrar e aparece um menu de opções.
• Seleccionar Desligar  OK.
Como Bloquear e Desbloquear
Bloquear:
• Pressionar aTecla de Ligar uma vez.
O ecrã vai ficar preto.
Desbloquear:
• Pressionar aTecla de Inicio uma vez
para mostrar o ecrá azul.
• Passar o dedo no ecrã para
desbloquear.

Network strength
You should see two icons on the top panel of
the phone:
No network - can’t send data!
Internet network connected
Nework Strength
Internet network connected
Battery level
Vibration mode active – Turn up
the volume!
If you see this icon
it means that you
aren’t connected to the network and can’t
send data.
Try to find a place that has a
stronger cell signal.
New SMS received
Missed call
If you see this icon
but don’t see this
it could mean that you don’t have enough
credit on the phone.
Call in progress
Sending data
Error occured – call technical help!
To check how much credit you
have, dial *151#
Notification Panel
Swype your finger downwards
to open the Notification Panel.
Here you can turn on or off
different settings that might
drain your battery.
Only the SOUND icon should
be green. If others are green,
you could run out of battery!
This part will tell you recent
notifications, like:
• You have a new unread
message
• You have a missed call
• If information from
CommCare was sent

Making Calls

To check how much credit you have, dial
*151# on Movitel or *132# on mCel.
