How do the PhD programs work?
– Graduates received two degrees; one from Carnegie Mellon
and one from partner Portugal university.
– All degree requirements of each university must be satisfied.
– Departments agree how to fulfill requirements.
– Split time at Carnegie Mellon (40%) and in Portugal (60%).
– Two advisors, one in each location.
– Admissions are processed / approved by each university’s
department or unit.
