ORGANIZATIONS IN BRAZIL: CONCEPTS AND CHALLENGES
ANTONIO GELIS FILHO
SEMESTRE/ANO: 1º/2015
PROGRAM
GOALS
This course is meant to offer students an approach for analyzing strategy in non-private organizations. Brazil is a
complex country. Pockets of ‘developed world’ can be found sometimes surrounded by pockets of ‘fourth world’; in
between, huge areas of an ascending but challenging society can also be found. Organizations in Brazil must be able
to cope with all that complexity. That makes the decision-making process even more difficult. The tools presented in
this course will help students to tackle such obstacles.
