AIM OF THE SOCRATES-COMENIUS PROJECT
«HISTORICAL RECREATION AS
A PEDAGOGICAL PROJECT – from training to action»
• The aim is to implement a local and European
cooperation between universities, teacher
training institutions, schools, local public
authorities and cultural-artistic associations that
promote historical recreations as a way of
preserving the historical and cultural heritage of
the European communities.
OBJECTIVES
• Promote the European Citizenship Education,
through the participation of teachers and students in
the preservation of the historical and cultural
heritage of their communities in Europe;
• Conceive training projects, improve methodologies
and produce pedagogical materials for the support
of the historical recreations as pedagogical projects;
• Promote the training by PROJECT MODALITY as a
strategy of development of teachers, students and
educational communities;
• Stimulate the CREATIVITY and INNOVATION
regarding the training of teachers and, in the same
time, the teaching-learning methodologies of all
subjects;
ACTIVITIES AND PRODUCTS
• Research and production of the conceptual and
methodological framework for “Historical Recreation
as a Pedagogical Project”;
• Organization of European Seminars and
dissemination;
• conception of a Teacher Training Programme in the
scope of the school innovation projects;
• to give support to the creation and supervision of
projects of historical recreation in schools;
Conception and production of:
• a MANUAL
• a CD-ROM
• a DVD
Organization of a final COURSE
