Building The Brand:
1. Latin for “From Two,” Duorum combines over 60 years of winemaking experience from legendary oenologists J. Portugal Ramos and
José Maria Soares Franco
2. Franco was chief winemaker for 27 years of Ferreira Ports and
Sogrape Vinhos (which includes the famed Barca Velha)
3. Ramos, Portugal’s most famous winemaker, began his winemaking
career in the Alentejo (Marques de Borba, Loios, etc.). He has won
dozens of national and international awards, e.g., 2010 Personality of
the Year and 2006 Producer of the Year from Essencia do Vinho.
4. Tons: Target large & small off-premise and BTG on-premise
5. Colheita & Reserva Old Vines: Target boutique and gourmet wine
shops. On premise, perfect wines for steakhouses and
Mediterranean cuisine.
