RESUMO
Dentre as tendências atuais para as roupas
infantis, encontra-se o uso do vestuário com
intuito de contribuir para o desenvolvimento e
aprendizado das crianças por meio da interação
com o mesmo. Desta forma, esse estudo
apresenta uma investigação, através da revisão
bibliográfica, com o objetivo de discutir as
relações entre o desenvolvimento de crianças
com e sem deficiência visual, os aspectos
inclusivos do vestuário infantil e a importância do
Design de Superfície na criação de texturas para
esse público. Observou-se que os designers
privilegiam as cores e estampas, ou seja, a
textura visual, mas que atualmente também
estão trabalhando o lúdico por meio de texturas
táteis e acessórios no vestuário para crianças.
Seria adequado questionar se tais características
estão realmente proporcionando as sensações
imaginadas pelo Designer ao projetá-las? Será
que o vestuário que está sendo comercializado,
realmente proporciona a experiência tátil
desejada para essas crianças? Conclui-se que
para responder essas perguntas de forma
objetiva, se faz necessário aplicar testes de
usabilidade junto ao próprio usuário.
