Festa Junina no Nordeste - Brasil.
Embora seja comemorado nos quatro cantos do
Brasil, na região Nordeste as festas ganham uma
grande expressão, sempre iniciada em 12 de junho.
Como a seca é um problema grave, os nordestinos aproveitam as
festividades para agradecer as chuvas raras na região, que servem para
manter a agricultura; e como o mês de junho é a época da colheita do
milho grande parte das comidas típicas é feitas de milho.
As tradições fazem parte das comemorações. Marcadas pelas fogueiras,
que servem como centro para a famosa dança de
quadrilhas e pela formação dos grupos festeiros. Estes grupos ficam
andando e cantando pelas ruas da cidade e de porta em porta,
onde os moradores deixam uma grande quantidade de comidas
e bebidas para serem degustadas pelos festeiros.
Além de alegrar o povo, as festas apresentam um
importante momento econômico, pois muitos turistas
costumam visitar a região nessa época o que gera
empregos nas cidades e aumenta o lucro dos
comerciantes.
JUNINA PARTY IN NORTHEAST
BRAZIL
Although it is celebrated on the four corners of Brazil, in the
Northeast region the parties are greater, it´s always begun on June 12th. As the
dry weather is a serious problem, the Northeast people take these parties to
thank the rare rain in this region, which are to keep the agriculture; and as the
June month is the harvest time of corn great part of the food is made of corn.
The traditions are part of the celebrations. Established by the fire, which are
the center of the famous dance of “quadrilhas” and by the formation of party
groups. These ones keep walking and singing on the streets of the
city and by door to door, where the dwellers give a great quantity
of food and beverages to be tasted by the party people.
Beyond cheering the people, the parties show an important
economic time, because many tourists use to visit this region in
that epoch which generates jobs in the cities and raise the profit
to the marketers.
