Santos Dumont Park displays beautiful green area

Museum of Sacred Art
Installed in the Chapel of Nossa Senhora
Aparecida, the first Sacred Art Museum of Sao
Jose dos Campos has a collection composed of
images, parameters, liturgical objects, shrines,
religious books, procession of flags, among many
other pieces.
The date of the eighteenth century to the
twentieth collection and all parts are made by
artists and craftsmen anonymous from Valley
Paraíba and other regions.

Banhado
Banhado is an EPA (Environmental Protected Area).
It is considered the main postcard of the city and
where one can watch the most beautiful sunset in
São José. On the edge, are located two important
monuments:
Soldier with Flag - Tribute to joseenses soldiers and
caçapavenses that went to fight in World War 2.
Obelisk MMDC - Tribute to the four students
who were killed in the Constitutionalist
Revolution of 1932.

City Market
The stalls and City Market stores offer fruits,
vegetables, flowers, medicinal herbs and even
small animals. In pastries and snack bars, the
conversation is accompanied by traditional
pastels. There also the consumer can find the
typical ‘bolinho caipira’.
Located between the streets Siqueira Campos,
September 7, Sebastian Humel and Lane Chico
Luiz, the building follows the expansion started
in 1921 and completed in 1923, from the original
building built in 1896 and occupied one third of
the present area.

Torii
Located in Cassiano Ricardo Avenue, Riugi
Kojima square, also known as Torii Square, is
characteristically Japanese style and was made to
commemorate the centenary of the arrival of the
first Japanese in Brazil.
There is a portal that indicates the entrance to the
spiritual world, marking the passage to infinity
(Torii), with 17 meters high and 21 meters wide,
one of the largest in Brazil. There is also a Japanese
garden that stands out for its architecture, with
great scenery for pictures.
