Acquisition of Interest
NCF Participações S.A. (NCF), headquartered in Cidade de Deus, Vila
Yara, Osasco, in the state of São Paulo, Corporate Taxpayers’ ID
(CNPJ) 04.233.319/0001-18, a company participating in the Control
Group of Bradespar S.A. (Bradespar), pursuant to CVM Instruction 358,
dated January 3, 2002, hereby announces to the market that on this date
it acquired 6,620,432 (six million, six hundred and twenty thousand, four
hundred and thirty-two) registered book-entry common shares,
representing approximately 5.4% of Bradespar’s common capital, from
Gespar Participações Ltda., Corporate Taxpayers’ ID (CNPJ)
04.236.374/0001-61.
As a result of the acquisition, NCF now holds approximately 19.4% of
Bradespar’s common capital.
