Objectives:
After concluding this Curricular Unit, the student should be able to:
1º - Know the rules associated to technical drawings.
2º - Apply representations related to technical drawings.
3º - Analyse technical drawings from Architecture and Engineering.
4º - Manipulate technical drawings in CAD environment
Syllabus:
Chapter 1 - The importance of technical drawing
Chapter 2 - General aspects of technical drawing
Chapter 3 - Orthogonal Projections
Chapter 4 - Cuts and Sections
Chapter 5 - Dimensioning
Chapter 6 - Technical drawing in architectural and engineering projects
Chapter 7 - Introduction to AutoCAD
Objectives:
The methodology is based primarily on theoretical presentation of materials using the expository method and interrogative, followed
by a more practical component, using the method statement, with examples performed by students with the support of the teacher.
Assessment Methods:
- Continuous assessment
Realization of 3 tests (MT1, MT2 and MT3), whose simple average will have a weighting of 100%. The final grade will be
determined through the expression: (20%.MT1) + (45%.MT2) + (35%. MT3)
Approval and consequent dismissal of final exam: final grade equal to or higher than 9.5, with minimum score of 7.5 points in each
of the tests.
- Final exam
The final exam will have two components: theoretical (T) and practice (P)
The grade will be determined through the expression: (35%.T) + (65%.P)
Approval of final exam: final grade equal to or higher than 9.5
