The nominating committee consisted of Tomi Asenuga (Chair);
Carvalho; Giuseppe Miccoli; Michael Maloney;Elsa Thompson;
Dennis Walsh; and Richard Weisenburger. Delegates to Serra's
72nd international convention will have the opportunity to vote on th
slate of officers, the Serra International budget, and any proposed
amendments to the Constitution and Bylaws of Serra International.

COMMUNIQUE FROM THE ORLANDO BOARD
MEETING (January 10-12, 2014)
The Board of Trustees of Serra International ("the Board") passed
one resolution in Orlando related to 'Fresh Start' upon which the
Board wishes to communicate to the Serra world. The Board allow
the 'Fresh Start' committee to continue its work. The Board respect
the concerns of the 'Fresh Start' clubs but remains concerned that
authorizing two councils in the same geographic jurisdiction may be
confusing and may not contribute to the Serra unity. The Board
wishes to clarify that 'Fresh Start' is given 'Committee' status and is
not a provisional council. The Board encouraged the Committee to
work with the 'Fresh Start' clubs to satisfy their concerns and to
continue the Serra mission in their local areas. The Committee will
also continue to encourage and facilitate dialogue between 'Fresh
Start' and Serra's National Council for the U.S. ("USAC") to resolve
any differences, preferably before the Serra International Convention
in Sacramento.
Serra's 72nd International Convention
Serra's 72nd International Convention will be held in Sacramento,
California from 10-13 July 2014. Click here to register. Register

USD300.00 per registrant, a savings of USD100.00 over the post-15
April 2014 registration fee of USD400.00

La 72a Convention de Serra International
La 72ª Convención de Serra International se realizará en la ciudad de
