GUIDE FOR THE INTERNATIONAL
STUDENT AT UFCSPA
WELCOME TO UFCSPA!
Your coming to UFCSPA requires, in addition to the administrative measures taken
at your university of origin, other steps to enable your stay in Brazil (visa, CPF, RNE)
and to guarantee your comfort and safety (health and transportation). To assist
you in these proceedings, the International Relations Office at UFCSPA created this
guide outlining the most important documents you will need.
If you have any doubts, do not hesitate to contact the International Relations Office:

HEALTH
It is highly recommended that you, as a foreign student, have an international
health insurance valid throughout the duration of your stay in Brazil. Generally, the
phone number to get information about services (private hospitals, among others)
is listed on the insurance policy.
If you do not have health insurance, you can seek free health assistance at health
centers and hospitals in the city accredited by SUS (the Brazilian Unified Health
System) available. However, this service may take long or not be available.
