Analisamos o formato do JH procurando identificar as estratégias utilizadas na busca por proximidade com o telespectador. Consideramos a descontração dos apresentadores uma característica do programa, que o distingue dos noticiários alicerçados na formalidade e o torna uma opção mais leve de telejornal. Como fio condutor de nosso raciocínio, está a percepção quanto a algumas mudanças no telejornalismo brasileiro, entre as quais está a adoção de uma postura informal pelo jornalismo das emissoras. Na TV Globo, o Jornal Hoje ilustra o que destacamos como uma aparente nova tendência no jornalismo de TV. O método da análise de conteúdo nos auxiliou no desenvolvimento das inferências apresentadas neste trabalho, nos permitindo atingir um nível de compreensão superior ao da leitura comum. Palavras-chave: Jornal Hoje; transformações no telejornalismo; convergência de mídias ABSTRACT This research has the Jornal Hoje as an object of study. It is television news aired by Globo TV. We analyze the JH’s format aiming to identify all the utilized strategies searching for closeness to the viewer. We consider the presenters’ relaxation a feature from this TV program, which defers it from other reports consolidated on formality. This makes it a “lighter option” of Television news. As a guiding principle of our thoughts, there is the perception to some changes in Brazilian television journalism among which is the adoption of an informal approach to their journalism. The Jornal Hoje on Globo TV illustrates what we emphasize as a new apparent tendency on TV journalism. The method of contents analysis has helped us on the development of the inferences presented in this work, allowing us to achieve a higher level of comprehension in spite of common lectures. keywords: Jornal Hoje; Changes in broadcast journalism; Media Convergence.
