Lives and works in São Paulo
Education
Graduates as an Electronic Engineer from the Federal University of Pernambuco (1989), having
been a grantee at the Physics Department for three years. Works at a factory until he
discontinues his technical career to devote himself to the Visual Arts (1994). Attends Escolinha
de Arte do Recife, a private school of arts for beginners (1994-95), and works under the
supervision of Gil Vicente (1995-97). Studies at the French National School of Higher Education
in Fine Arts and at the School of the Louvre in Paris, France (1997). Attends and participates in
a workshop in New York (1998). In São Paulo, he studies Art History with Rodrigo Naves (1999),
Leon Kossovitch (2000/01), and has been engaged in theoretical studies, both with Carlos
Fajardo (1999-2002) and with Nuno Ramos (2000).
