Domain of specializations
The research of co-operation involves a multi-disciplinary approach. Although the mainstream
literature comes from economics, other fields are very much involved: strategic management,
economic sociology, economic geography and anthropology. Broadly, business co-operation is a
matter of business decisions, and hence an unorthodox microeconomics approach. Specifically,
this is an issue of Business economics.

Present research interests
My research interests started on the research of clusters and local government policies. Within
the cluster analysis I decided to specialise in the study of inter-firm co-operative relationships.
Specifically, I am interested in researching the factors that explain the differences in cooperation mechanisms and the role of local culture and values in business inter-relations.
