that, we have aimed at developing
applications in the area of Digital Signal
Processing targeted to the community and
with binds to academic projects. Several new
methods and algorithms applied to signal
processing have been proposed by members
of the group and been published in
international conferences and journals. Most
of these works are part of MSc and PhD
students’ education, indicating the high
quality preparation of the graduate students.
The participation of undergraduate students in
the group’s activities, either as trainees or in
scientific initiation programs, has strongly
contributed to the preparation of engineers
with deeper knowledge in the area of signal
processing. Group members have actively
contributed with the scientific communities of
Digital Signal Processing and akin areas. For
instance, working as editors, associate editors
and reviewers of national and international
journals and making part of the technical
committees of national and international
conferences.
