ANA LUÍSA AMARAL POETRY READING October 3, 2014 Friday, October 3, 2014 Millburn House Dept. of English & Comparative Literary Studies 17:30-18:30 Ana Luísa Amaral is an Associate Professor at the University of Porto, as well as a founding member of the Board of Directors of UP's Margarida Losa Institute of Comparative Literature. Her academic research focuses on the areas of comparative poetics, feminist studies and queer theory. In addition to her scholarly work she is an acclaimed poet, playwright and novelist, whose work has received several prestigious national and international prizes.
