Boa Vista and Maio Islands Tourism Development
Corporation, SA, is a limited company established in 2005
by the State of Cape Verde and the Municipalities of Boa
Vista and Maio, detaining 51%, 35% and 14% of the capital,
respectively. SDTIBM organization and operation are
governed by its Statutes and other dispositions of national
law regarding commercial companies, namely the Code of
Commercial Companies. The purpose of
SDTIBM
consists of the physical planning, management and
administration of Special Tourism Areas (ZTE) on the
Islands of Boa Vista and Maio with a view to promoting and
developing tourism.

SDTIBM has for sale infraestructured land, located in the
Integrated Tourism Development Areas (ZDTI)* of the
following islands:

The POT of ZDTI of Chave, ZDTI of Morro de Areia,

ZDTI of Ribeira D. João have already been adopted and
published by the Government and now SDTIBM is open to
receive proposals from investors whose projects are in
harmony with the POT .

Tourism Land Management Plan (POT) - A legal and safe
planning instrument, approved by the Government, that
clarifies the rules and procedures for tourism development
and ensures transparency, accuracy, legal and technical
predictability in the occupation of ZDTI.
