É um programa de bolsas lançado em 2011 pelo Governo do Brasil, que até 2015, visa

Se necessário, você poderá melhorar o seu conhecimento de inglês através do Programa de
Inglês Intensivo da Educação Continuada por dois, quatro ou seis meses antes de iniciar os
seus estudos acadêmicos. Através deste Programa, oferecemos apoio de idioma para qualquer
aluno registrado em cursos acadêmicos. Como um componente obrigatório do Programa, os
estudante vão também completar uma pesquisa de 4 meses ou estágio na área.
O programa também inclui atividades extra-curriculares dentro e fora do Campus. Você terá
a chance de passear pelo Parque Provincial Whiteshell, patinar no gelo nos rios Assiniboine
e Vermelho, ver o Museu dos Direitos Humanos do Canadá e muitas outras atividades que
permitirão que você interaja com estudantes do mundo todo.

HOW DOES THE SwB PROGRAM WORK AT THE U OF M?

If required, you will upgrade your English Language Skills through Extended
Education’s Intensive English Program for either two, four, or six months before
proceeding with your academic courses. Throughout your program, we offer language
support to any student registered in Academic courses. A mandatory component of the
program, students will also complete a 4-month research or industry placement.
The program also includes extracurricular activities on and off campus. You’ll get
the chance to do things like: hike in Whiteshell Provincial Park, ice skate down the
Assiniboine and Red rivers, tour Canada’s Human Rights museum, and many other
activities that allow you to interact with international students from around the world.
WHAT FACULTIES PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM?
For the 2013-2014 school year, participating faculties include: Agriculture, Architecture,
Arts, Engineering, Human Ecology, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Science. Please see
